Mr. Satyanarayana, Consultant, StartupCell-KBITS had come to conduct the workshop and interact with startups. The agenda of the workshop was to enlighten the Entrepreneurs and Startups about the following details:  Registration process for startups through Startup Portal  Various funding schemes and booster kit designed under Karnataka Startup Policy  Various incentives and reimbursements under the Karnataka Startup Policy which the registered startups can avail. The startups interacted with Mr. Satyanarayana and shared their issues and concerns like:  Will StartupCell help the startups in Industry connect and in fund raising?  Will Startups get VAT/ CST/ GST reimbursements?  Procedure for patent filing.  What are the criteria for Startups to get service tax reimbursement?  Will there be any reimbursement for trademark registration and filing? The one on one session helped the startups with technical issues that they were facing during registering for StartupCell certificate. The startups who haven’t registered with StartupCell, were asked to get registered as soon as possible so that they can avail the benefits and incentives provided but the Government of Karnataka.
